Ever wanted to be a national champion, but haven’t found your unique calling? This could be it. The OFFICIAL Australian Egg and Spoon Racing National Championships is coming to Orford. And it’s all in an effort to raise money for the local Nippers club.
All profits from this event will go to the Nippers at the Raspins Beach Surf Life Saving Club.
Event Structure - 16 August 2026.
Event village: 31 rheban road, orford
Kids (Under 10) racing: 50m
1:30 pm
Entry: $10 per person (Closes on race day, 1:15pm)
Categories: Boys National Champion, Girls National Champion
Team/Family Race: 4 ×50m, four-person relay
2:00 pm
Entry: $20 per team (Closes on race day, 1:30pm)
Categories: National Champion Team
elite Individual Race: 100m
2:15pm
Entry: $10 per person (Closes on race day, 1:45pm)
Categories: Male National Champion, Female National Champion
All profits from this event go to the Raspins Beach Surf Life Saving Club, so they can help keep Orford beaches safe this summer!
